Nannì, or ‘Na gita a li castelli, is the most popular song of Franco Silvestri (1893-1959), written in 1926. With lyrics containing Roman dialecticisms, it was enormously successful, and has become something of an anthem for the towns in the Alban hills south-east of Rome (the so-called Castelli Romani).
