In commemoration of the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante, a documentary team visits the places of Dante’s exile to explore the life of the Great Poet during his long and difficult journey through Italy. The film explores places, words, and characters to discover and appreciate both the works, and the human figure of the father of the Italian language. Through this exploration, the film tries to reveal a different Dante — one who is a bit less academic, and a bit more modern.
