The performer Bianca Bonino performed an excerpt of “The Betrothed”, the famous book by Alessandro Manzoni. The performance was in Italian – a printed English translation was provided to those attending. The event was introduced by the Italian Embassy cultural attaché Valentina Biguzzi, and took place at the Italian Cultural Centre at 80 Franklin Street, Forrest, on Saturday May 20, 2023, at 7pm.
