Interested in working as an Italian language assistant in schools? Wish to gain valuable experience in the classroom? The Dante Alighieri Society of Canberra is looking for more language assistants to support teachers in schools!
The role of the language assistant is to work alongside a classroom teacher to enhance Italian language acquisition opportunities for students. The candidates will assist the teacher in the planning, preparation, and delivery of the school’s Italian language programme. The assistant is not expected to be responsible for the class as the teacher will always be present.
The candidates must be highly proficient in Italian, either mother tongue speakers or having obtained a certified level C1 qualification. Candidates must also have a WWVP card (working with vulnerable people).
