Australian born Italian-Canberrans with some knowledge of an Italian regional dialect are being offered an opportunity to enrol in a Dante Alighieri Society Italian language course of their choice for free.  The Dante Alighieri Society of Canberra is seeking volunteers to be part of a two-hour long focus discussion group on their experience in the use of an Italian dialect.  The focus group will be held after working hours sometime in May-June 2019. To volunteer you must be over 18 and have experience in the use of an Italian dialect to communicate with family or friends.  All qualifying volunteers will receive a free one-year membership of the Dante Alighieri Society (worth $40) simply by registering their interest.  Those selected for the focus group will receive an addition free enrolment in one of the Society’s standard one term Italian language course of their choice.
